She responded almost immediately when I emailed her about potentially listing our property and when she came out to meet with us she was incredibly thorough and helpful with tons of information on a timeline, the process, current market conditions, etc. She spent a ton of time coming up with great comps and helped us arrive at a price that felt good to us and aligned with the current market well- and we ended up selling a bit over that price within a day. Mary Myzia came to us as a referral because we live out of state and had been asked to sell the property of a relative. She stepped up and started working on it from Day One, to get the property ready for sale, to have outstanding pictures taken, to determine a realistic asking price , and to get it listed in a timely manner. She went on to bring several (many) offers to our table, (at numbers higher than we ever anticipated) and work through them all for the best opportunity. When one of the Buyers changed their mind halfway through the process, she did not blink but immediately renewed the listing and found us an equally acceptable offer. Throughout this entire period we were in Ohio and made zero trips to manage this process. She is skilled at all aspects of technology and documentation and can accomplish them remotely which saved us much time and money. She worked through inspections, repairs, negotiations, snow removal, grass cutting and COVID, all in our absence and obtained outstanding results. It is hard to quantify the value I place on her many years of experience, but we would readily recommend her to anyone having property for sale. About Mary Myzia
Mary Myzia began her career in real estate sale in 1982 after purchasing her first home. She was just 21 years old and full of excitement about home ownership. She knew that the American dream was truly obtainable at any age. Since then she has helped many families achieve their American dream.At 19, Mary was the acting supervisor of an accounting department for a major moving and storage company. Very self motivated, she always knew the sky was the limit. Mary knew she had no bounds. After the closing of her home, she enrolled
in school to obtain the necessary requirements to get her Real Estate Sales license. In 1988 Mary went back to school to complete the additional education necessary to obtain a Real Estate Brokers license. Over the years, she has attended many training classes for marketing real estate at the highest levels so she could be of the best service to her clients.
Mary has consistently been a top-producing agent in the Northwest suburban area with a strong focus on home marketing, move-up buyers, transferees and first time buyers. Helping you to make the smoothest move has always been her goal.
Since 2007, Mary has maintained the #1 status for single family home sales in Schaumburg. She has also been named as Americas Best and Illinois Best Realtor by Real Trends Magazines consistently for several years.
Mary raised her three children in Schaumburg. She has been involved as a leader in Boy and Girl Scouts, Religious Education, Conant High School Band Parent Club, 1st Vice President of Michael Collins PTA and President of Robert Frost Jr. High PTA. In her spare time she enjoys doing volunteer work for Habitat for Humanity, Feed My Starving Children and other community organizations, spending time with her grandchildren, sewing and gardening.
